So it's been 6 months since my last entry. Boooo! Teaching takes a great deal of my time and energy, as well as the joys of parenting two wonderful children! : )
So we have been on summer break for 2 1/2 weeks now. On our first weekend off we went to Galveston with some great friends! We visited a great spot in Keema one evening, where Kyle won some cute stuffed animals for the girls (Audrey & Avah) shooting baskets and we watched a fireworks show right off the boardwalk. The next day we went to Moody Gardens in Galveston. We had a wonderful time there. We went to an aquarium, butterfly exhibit and an IMax movie. We closed the evening with a great BBQ!
The following weekend we went to Corpus for my Grandfather's 80th birthday! We had such a good time. And to take advantage, we took the kids to the Corpus Christi Aquarium. Both Isaiah and Avah loved it!
